I know What I did Last Weekend...

Last weekend, I had a whirlpool of fun, goin out with friends from UTM who are doing Industrial Attachment in KL.

We met up at KL Sentral and discuss..and discuss...and more discussion on where to go and what to do, hehehe. It's usual for us to go nowhere. It's been like that since in UTM. We'll plan to meet, to plan, to go somewhere else...but, usually..it never happened like that, hehehe. Maybe we have priority disorder (read: a cute disorder signified by inability of the person to stay on track and focus on what was supposed to do, rather be carried away with whatever topic that sprung up at that moment)

Even though we eventualy made a move to Times Square, we were still wandering aimless. Still, we had lots of fun, at least I did, being able to be with them. Now, nothing beats that!..

Later, I went to my friends place in Padang Jawa and holed up there for the night. The morning after, went for breakfast and we lepak again, this time at Jusco Bukit Raja and check out the UiTM girls coming for weeekend shopping or just to hang out (the girls..they definitely know how to dress for the weekends) N-I-C-E!.....

Last nite activity..

Yesterday was a hectic day!..
First, went with my family for a bit of "family bonding" at our friendly neighbourhood Tesco (hehehe). It's a nice break from my usual at home doing online surfing without outside contact. Taking long strolls at public places like this always amazes me. It's a a hobby/fetish of sort for me, to observe people, hehehe, but not in the wrong way mind you..

Just peaceful to watch the families stroll with kids on tow, all smiling and brim with happiness. Not forgetting the tantrum-atic kids screaming/begging for toys (by the way there was cheap sale for toys, so my nephew got a new set of car toys, hehe, lucky him).

Later, around 4pm, Iwent with my S.I.L to Low Yat to buy laptop for her, with my naughty nephew in tow of course, hehehe.. Finally, after an exhausting 5hours, we finally went back home with Compaq laptop and a Lexmark printer (very cheap, for RM 399 got a 5-in-1 (print,photostat,scan,fax,wi-fi).

We rushed home 'coz I got badminton practise at 10. As expected I was late by more than half hour for the practise (got scolding from my bro a bit, hehehe, sorry bro). I was totaled!.. The guys that we practise with played superbly! But that's no wonder la 'coz they practise a lot and don't expect me to master the art of badminton-ing in just few strokes..If life's a Bollywood movie, then that can happen,hehe..But the guys were very supportive and even taught me of the proper way to hold the racquet and way of swinging the wrist.

Went back with world of aches on my body..have to excercise more after this..been a long time since the leave started at May that I haven't touched my dumbbell..

My night..Out

Last nite I lepak with my friend Mat, from UTM, who is undergoing Industrial Attachment at a chemical company in Padang Jawa, Shah Alam.

Actually I was gonna come back home last nite, but made impossible 'coz I was already late arriving there. Why did I get there late?.. Here's the story..

I took Ampang LRT from my home to Masjid Jamek station. From there, I took the Kelana Jaya Line (PUTRA LRT actually, dunno why they have to change the name and confuse people) to KL Sentral. From there I took KTM Komuter to get to Padang Jawa.

LRT: Of the three, the LRT ride was the smoothest and less hassling for me. The passengers are well behaved when embarking and disembarking from the cabs. What was good to see is that, the passengers have mutual respect by allowing those exiting to get out, before entering. This not only gives good impression of us,but also make the train ride better (hehehe).

PUTRA: Of the three, PUTRA is a class act in terms of exiting-entering the cabs. They even provide asisstant who gives out instruction (he's kinda like Pengawas there, hehehe). When the train arrives, he will shout "Bagi orang keluar dulu!...", then he shouts "ok, masuk terus, masuk terus!..", just in time before the door closes. They even provide separate line to enter and exit the cabs. Kudos to the management!..but my only complaint will be, the SPACE! If they could just make the platform bigger and add in more cabs to the train, it definitely will sweeten the ride.

KOMUTER: The worst of the three. First, the platforms provided at the KL Sentral station is not properly ventilated (everyone who had taken a ride there sure knows this). Second, the crowd here are not as organised as at the LRT and PUTRA. There are still those that didn't line up properly and wait for passengers to exit the cabs first. Third, I lived as a canned sardine throughout the ride to Padang Jawa! There's literally no-way for me and the other passengers to move without bumping onto others. The air inside the cab was not ventilated properly either. It's pitiful for me to see a baby sweating in his/her crib, with cheeks turning red (but thanks to other commuters, 'coz some of them offered their place to the family and some "hand-fanned" the baby using papers). I was sweating like a pig all the way (pity those who had to stand under my arms 'coz it sure had smelled heavily, hehehe). The management should SHOW improvement not just mention it.

Overall, the ride was eye opening and in a way I enjoyed it as I never had a ride on the three trains on the very same day. It's very fortunate for us to have different types of transportation, even though it's not up to the par, we can all strive together to make the improvements right?..

Malaysians are first-class citizens!..
